The Sherborne Turing Foundation was established in May 2026 with the purpose of creating an Alan Turing Center in Sherborne that will promote the development of skills in AI, Digital and Technology through tuition, research and entrepreneurship. The centre will be located in the heart of Sherborne, where Alan Turing’s education began, and is intended to be  a living and ongoing tribute to the wideranging positive impact Turing had on our world through his work on cryptography, computer science, and artificial intelligence.
